I think I've never used the smtpd_sasl_path in my postfix configs; from postfix docs: "Search path for Cyrus SASL application configuration files, currently used only to locate the $smtpd_sasl_path.conf file. Specify zero or more directories separated by a colon character, or an empty value to use Cyrus SASL's built-in search path." So I reckon the parameter has to be directory without any filename part , but if the config file is in default place, parameter can be left unset. > Thanks for all of your help!
