Well, sometime, maybe 10 years ago someone said:
  "hey, i think we should support large files"
and switched everything to use 64 bit offsets, since it's been in
place for about a decade most stuff just works. :)

It's a bit less than 100%, but we like to work with people to get
apps that they run across running under the emulator.
