AIC 7902 Controller. I have installed 6 Seagate SCSI Drive (U320) and cannot get Freebsd 4.8 to install With more that 4 drives? I have also tried 5.0 and 5.1 where arfter the fourth drive is installed the systems hangs. On boot where is says waiting 15 sec for SCSI devices to settle - this is where it hangs?? Can you help?
