Which= makes me wonder if there is real interest in powerpc ports/packages or tha= t I should spend my time somewhere else as I don't even have the hardware m= yself. I would say it is up to you, if you have the time and are willing, go for it, otherwise, there will be more important things to do : According to this <https://www.freebsd.org/platforms/>, powerpc64 is Tier-2 in 13.x and 14.x, and will not be supported in 15. According to this <https://docs.freebsd.org/en/articles/committers-guide/#_= tier_2_developmental_and_niche_architectures> : Tier 2 platforms are functional, but less mature FreeBSD platforms. They are not supported by the security officer, release engineering, and Ports Management Team. The ports infrastructure should include basic support for Tier 2 architectures sufficient to support building ports and packages. This includes support for basic packages such as ports-mgmt/pkg, but there is no guarantee that arbitrary ports will be buildable or functional. --=20 Mathieu Arnold --xqtodlrqd3mazioj Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQITBAABCgB9FiEE9XJBpJetWizkEBUef2IOCp6dQb4FAmcTSFlfFIAAAAAALgAo aXNzdWVyLWZwckBub3RhdGlvbnMub3BlbnBncC5maWZ0aGhvcnNlbWFuLm5ldEY1 NzI0MUE0OTdBRDVBMkNFNDEwMTUxRTdGNjIwRTBBOUU5RDQxQkUACgkQf2IOCp6d Qb63mgv/ZjkNyqw25FIe1sirBTlZt12RI/BFrL49sW19gYPy+vNNu7Wc6olGnwtj JWjJq3Ivj48aLqxte3lzrtS8r1jPDte3+/wkYg8cA51R7Jl8uNaAxjj2W7sQP0ei Kz+fVB2EZolOyxGskO2ifqD8kLZMxrur0VfPY1u3QggZVlWckjrOk8EpKGtl1G4X T2/WILcfHLe545hLopyI/b5qBnCQC6E1p+br03auFpbpyr2t/vSpLJm+qByMkYzh C0BvZsnKbM0uoIFFu35JkRW5871LEBPEwVlPcwbSAzojjBAX8p8huQF3rqn2V6yL /3b/WKRgAb3BPLKB7hnHJSIEAqvN1wEMhGVTrFO8VPQAKJ8RtrTKIVIebNx27noc r4iy9YbomOQVylrGVYxlVYqvGCQLtmx9o7llopEoDORK8Jlxl2TD5fQU3LDY7+Ly 0/zYmYq7g9Bj9cWCPFCX/RNltfbv3/qDIve7OulVkZqwf1VGjwadmn8poG8i4/0b zhVnUtxH =hHL7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --xqtodlrqd3mazioj--
