Demand dial ppp works like a charm... ...except that when my wife prints from her computer to the printer attached to my computer, the lpd on my computer triggers the dialer, I presume for a reverse DNS lookup to verify the entry in /etc/hosts.lpd. Is there any way I can prevent this without installing dfilter for ppp that blocks DNS? -john === jfieber@cs.smith.edu ========== Come up and be a kite! --K. Bush ===
