In article <35B7BB61.4518@cats.ucsc.edu>, Takayuki Kaiso <tkaiso@cats.ucsc.edu> writes >Hi, > > Is there any information regarding the USR 56.6K X2 modem >support by FreeBSD ? Can I configure it as usual 28.8K modem ? >I checked the vendor web sites and other sites, but >din't find any hints. > > If the modem isn't a winmodem <spit!> then it isn't OS dependent, and therefore freebsd 'support' isn't required. You set the modem up with an init. string (you need your manual, but AT&F would be a start). If it is a winmodem <spit!>, you're stuffed. -- John To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
