Internet Explorer displays the smart quotes and apostrophes in Microsoft text correctly. If we all had it, people who write their Web pages using Microsoft products wouldn't need to pass them through the demoroniser ( http://www.fourmilab.ch/webtools/demoroniser/ ) just so we could read them.
