I have a system installed from late January FreeBSD-current sources and at that point an up-to-date ports tree. All installed ports where builtin after I installed FreeBSD. So, I am running FreeBSD-14.0. For some reason, I am getting bogus warnings from pkg. % pkg info > /dev/null pkg: Warning: Major OS version upgrade detected. Running \ "pkg bootstrap -f" recommended Short of running the bootstrap command, how do I get rid of these messages, which are clearly bogus. -- Steve
