As with keyboards, Microsoft continues to complicate mice. I've always preferred Microsoft mice, but I can no longer find just a simple, plain, reliable Microsoft mouse, so I'm not exactly sure what I'll do the next time I need to buy a mouse. The last Microsoft mouse I bought worked so poorly (constant contact bounce on the buttons), that I gave up and went back to the Microsoft mouse I had before it. I don't know what other companies make nice mice, but I guess I'll eventually have to find out.
