In PR ports/42074 the submitter was not very happy, that rsync depends on popt and popt depends on gettext... The included popt is as good as the devel/popt port. I totally agree with the submitter of ports/42074, that in a server enviroment it is not very confortable to install a lot of ports which are not _really_ needed. I have sent the patch I have committed a few days ago to ports@ and asked for a review resp. opinions about this change. The only reactions I got where unexceptional *pro* this change.
