>From your message, I have to guess at what you are trying to do. I assume you are trying to put the boot.flp image on a floppy to install FreeBSD on your system. 1. Format a 1.44MB floppy. From the DOS command line, 'Format a:' 2. Download the file boot.flp as a binary file. If you are using a browser to do this, be sure you are downloading the file as a binary image. Right click on the link and save the file as C:\boot.flp 3. Write the image to the floppy. fdimage C:\boot.flp a: If this does not work, post your question again. List the commands you used and the exact results of the commands. Before you install FreeBSD and start using it, read Part 1, Sections 1 through 3 of the handbook at www.freebsd.org/handbook. Read the new user tutorial at www.freebsd/tutorials/newuser/newuser.html. This will make the process much easier.
