You mean PAE (Page Address Extension), not PSE (Page Size Extension). The PSE is use to get 4M and other page sizes between 4M and 4K. Really, he ought to be reconsidering why he believes his application needs more than 4G of physical RAM, and whether he can achieve the same effect with a cluster.
