Was it FreeBSD because of the logo? Who designed the logo anyway? I don't worship Satan, but the FreeBSD devil is sorta cute-looking. Serious statement(s): I have been contemplating switching from Warp to UNIX for a number of months now. I love the OS/2 alternative to Msoft, but IBM is often flaky on whether it plans to add capability "x" or feature "y", and doesn't seem to support 3rd party vendors who are willing. As a networking/programming person by profession and hobby, I was looking at FreeBSD as a platform for web server and desktop use because of it's open support. What could I do to be a contributing member of such a project? Thank You. John K.
