This is AT&C1 in the Hayes command set. Also set to use hardware flow control: AT&K3 and drop DTR to hangup. (I'm reading the Supra command set and it's unclear what the proper setting is. It should do it by default though) You also need to set quiet mode with ATQ1 and no command echo with ATE0. This is old info. Only really old and cheap modems don't have NVRAM nowadays. And if your modem doesn't, go buy one that does. The Supras do and are very fine modems IMHO.
