Actually, the SB has nothing to do with it.  I bet this machine has 48 mb
of RAM; pull out a SIMM or two, install, then put it back in.  The
2.2.2-RELEASE boot floppy gets bent out of shape about 48 megs of RAM and
AFAIK it's fixed.
