i haven't bought the card yet. still looking for server class intel 
hardwrae for a departmental web server/servlet container. if this means 
that i can run 5.3 with this card, i'll go ahead and buy it.
will only be able to send you the 'pciconf' output once i get my hands on 
the card. how long do you need to get something working? and can i run 
'pciconf' before installing (i guess off of the live cd image)?
btw; which version of the ports collection is included on the 5.3-RELEASE 
(especially Apache2 & Tomcat)?
