It seems odd to me that there is no port for SAMBA 2.2.5 - This is still the stable version, according to samba.org. Considering the popularity of this port, I would think that an attempt would be made to keep a version around that is actually available? The package is 2.2.4, the port is a 2.2.6 beta. >> samba-2.2.6pre1.tar.bz2 doesn't seem to exist in /usr/ports/distfiles/. >> Attempting to fetch from http://us4.samba.org/samba/ftp/pre/. fetch: samba-2.2.6pre1.tar.bz2: Not Found >> Attempting to fetch from http://us4.samba.org/samba/ftp/old-versions/. fetch: samba-2.2.6pre1.tar.bz2: Not Found >> Attempting to fetch from http://us4.samba.org/samba/ftp/./. fetch: samba-2.2.6pre1.tar.bz2: Not Found >> Attempting to fetch from ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/. fetch: samba-2.2.6pre1.tar.bz2: File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access) >> Couldn't fetch it - please try to retrieve this >> port manually into /usr/ports/distfiles/ and try again. *** Error code 1 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
