Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Mailer: Mutt 0.90.10i X-OS: FreeBSD 2.2.6-STABLE Sender: owner-freebsd-isp@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I have a problem with a Cyclom-Y 8-port card, in a 2.2-STABLE (as of today) machine: cy0 rev 1 int a irq 5 on pci0:16:0 mapreg[10] type=0 addr=fdeffc00 size=0080. mapreg[14] type=1 addr=0000fc00 size=0080. mapreg[18] type=2 addr=000dc000 size=4000. cy0: no ports found! I just installed the card, added device cy0 to my kernel config, rebuilt, and rebooted. Is there something else that has to be done to get the serial ports to probe right? The motherboard has builtin PnP Soundblaster audio that probably defaults to IRQ 5, but I don't have PnP or the soundcard stuff in the kernel. -Dan Nelson dnelson@emsphone.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
