Anybody who's cannon fodder for marketing pitches deserves what he gets, which is usually the OS with the loudest pitchmen. We have lots of comparisons of all kinds, and we will have more, but you don't give up the sale up front. In dealing with human beings, I _like_ to offer the fair solution first. That way, after the other party has taken advantage of me a few times, he feels so embarrassed he promptly flips himself on his back. Such tacks do not work with salesmen and corporate CEO's, however. They -- by definition -- cannot be human.
