hi there: i just acquired FreeBSD 4.2 iso image and burned a cd. then i installed freebsd on my PII 233MHz, 512MB RAM, 4x40GB WD Harddrives RAID 0+1 with Promise FASTTRAK100. everything worked out smoothly, however, when i start up the computer and log in as root and at the prompt i type startx, then i get this error. it can't startx. is there a bug in the 4.2 version? it says that i should mail the whole error and not the last lines, but i don't know how to email that output? how can i get a newer version that isn't going to crash when i want to use KDE? peace out, ponch __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
