Oops.  Next time I need to do a bit more fact checking before I mouth
off.
It looks like the low end Dell laptops still don't have the trackpoint.
Unfortunatly, from the tone of your message, it sounds like you are
looking
for a low end laptop, so this probably isn't the path for you.
