I have installed samba, and ksamba ports. However, I couldn't find an instruction on setting up and running samba. I tried smbrun, but nothing happened. I tried smbstatus, but I got the following error message: Couldn't open stutus file /var/spool/lock/STATUS..LCK I would appreciate it if someone could bring me back to the track of running samba. Thank you in advance. Best wishes, and Merry X'Mas! Wai wai@aloha.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
