Quick answer: do /not/ disable device sc0, which appears to conflict
with the PS mouse. sc0 is the system console. It's OK for that conflict
to exist.

everybody who is conscientous and has a PS2 style mouse gets bit here.

If this is a problem (I don't know), it can be solved later.

No, it's not ;)  See above. It's really waiting for you to tell it
what to do, but the console has been disabled. (It thinks you have
a terminal on a serial line, but you don't).  Just restart, and
don't disable sc0.

I hope this goes away when you re-setup the kernel with sc0 left in.
