no, there are no there error messages at all. just the one that i mentioned at the start of this eMail posting. as i mentioned, it seems to be in some sort of loop that i can not get past.....but I don't see my original message in here anywhere... i can boot using the floppies and the installation starts. i can go through all of the partition steps. i can select install method and even select install packages but then i get stopped at the below mentioned error.....i have tried this over a dozen times today and it's always the same....someone else suggested that i just try to boot up and when i tried i received an error telling me that there was no kernel or something to that effect....
