To follow up on my own mail AGAIN, the linux rc5des client works and actually appears to be faster than the osf client on my 21264: OSF: 705.85 kkeys/s vs. Linux: 1.02 Mkeys/s The probably didn't use the DEC compilers. Sigh. BTW: The linux code isn't ready for prime-time. If somebody really, really wants it, I can give them early access.
