FWIW, I'm trying to get NAS, Speak-Freely, or any other of the 'internet phone' programs working with the same setup and am having little success. Chuck Robey pointed out that the default config files uses IRQ 7 and my SB16 Value is setup to default to IRQ 5, so I now can successfully cat files to /dev/audio. I'm also unable to get anything working with my GUS max as well, and the problems seem to be similar, but one thing at a time. [ /dev/sndstat info deleted as it's exactly the same for me ] Nate
