I finally managed to make it see the Java installation (linux-jdk1.3.1, from the ports too), in the sense that if I open the Java Setup dialog it correctly recognizes the installed java. Still, when I access say some web page with java code, it utters this error in the shell, which sadly shows me that java don't work yet: error - could not load java, cause error: /usr/local/linux-jdk1.3.1/jre/lib/i386/classic/libjvm.so: undefined symbol: jdk_sem_post. any clue? thanks! giuseppe To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
