Its Makefile lists devel/pth under LIB_DEPENDS. Could this mean that devel/pth was automagically installed when gnupg was installed? You will see below I have also included output from pkg_info -rR gnupg-2.0.13 which shows it listed as required by gnome2. On my system I manually changed dependencies on pth to libpthread-stubs-0.1. When you get a chance maybe you could take a look and let me know.
