They are a bloody nuisance because makewhatis(1) doesn't seem to understand them and instead of adding a one-liner to the whatis database it adds the whole manpage (seemingly as a single line) so ``man -k key'', for example produces this: [snip normal output] grab(n) - Confine pointer and keyboard events to a window sub-t ree mtools(5), mtools.conf(5) - mtools configuration files Description This manpage describes the configuration files for mtools.
