I was wondering if anyone had ever seen an error like this.  When I try to 
open Kopete the window pops up for a short time and then closes by itself 
again.  If I try to open it from a console I get the following error:

calvin$ kopete
Max: 1024, Min: 6500
Try: 1024
Port: 4, freePort: 1024
sock: 15, t: 1
ERROR: KUniqueApplication: DCOP communication error!
calvin$

I would really appreciate any help getting this to work,
