Hi,
I am somewhat new to freebsd and am trying to set up my home box so I can dial
in from work.
In the complete freebsd manual, it says to edit the /etc/ttys file which I did.
My modem is on cuaa1 so I have a line in this file that looks like this.
ttyd1 "/usr/libexec/getty std.57600" unknown on secure

When I try to dial this line the phone just rings but my modem does not answer.

I am running the 2.2.6 edition.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks Alot
