I have a simple modem on com3. Now I = want to surf=20 the Internet using Netscape Navigator 3 (because it's on my FreeBSD 3.2 = 4 CD set=20 -- Communicator 4 is also on the set but doesn't want to = run.).

Now I do:

#ppp<enter>
...> dial = provider<enter>
ppp>...
.
.
.
PPP><I don't do anything anymore = at this=20 point>

In an xterm window, I do:

#netscape&

But Netscape says: Netscape is unable = to locate the=20 server: home.netscape.com. The server does not have a DNS = entry.

my etc/host.conf file:
hosts
bind

my etc/resolv.conf:
nameserver <my ISP = DNS1>
nameserver <my ISP = DNS2>

my etc/hosts:
<same as on the CD set, I didn't = change=20 anything>

What am I doing wrong?

PS: in ppp, I also get a "silo = overflow" message:=20 is it save to ignore this?
