And what about a modem called LT-winmodem (Lucend Tech) ?

I know it's PnP works fine under win, but the FreeBSD do not recognize it. I
have already tried the IO address and the IRQ given in "win
control-panel/system".

It reports: IO=0x1400 and IRQ=3.
FreeBSD do not find it.
