Everything appearantly worked fine except that X server was crashed all the time when I used netscape. What I saw at the console were complains about Caught a Siganl 10. Sigreturn eflags = 0x13282. FreeBSD stayed up. A message suggested me look at the core but I couldnt find one. What do I need to do to make it write a core file? Any one else saw the similar problem? I use a Matrox G100 4M and Nokia 445Xpro. The box is an HP Vectra with 400M i Celeron, 64M ram, Realtek 10/100, IDE only. I have been running 3.5 for quite some time. Never had a problem. With 4.2, if no netscape, X runs ok. It happened under fvwm2 and twm so I dont think it is the wm. GENERIC and my own kernel saw the same failure. Does this have anything to do with kernal security? I have to set the level to -1 and NO to have X server run. Thanks.
