Hi Dirk,

I tried to install the standalone PHP4 interpreter parallel to my
mod_php4 port, to make 'print-debugging' easier without polluting
syslog.

I got following error message on 2 separate (4-STABLE) installations:
/bin/sh /var/ports/lang/php4/work/php-4.1.2/libtool --silent --mode=link cc -I.
-I/var/ports/lang/php4/work/php-4.1.2/ -I/var/ports/
lang/php4/work/php-4.1.2/main -I/var/ports/lang/php4/work/php-4.1.2
-I/var/ports/lang/php4/work/php-4.1.2/Zend -I/usr/local/include/
freetype2/freetype -I/usr/local/include/gd -I/usr/local/include
-I/usr/local/include/mysql -I/var/ports/lang/php4/work/php-4.1.2/TS
RM -O2 -pipe -fexpensive-optimizations -fstrength-reduce -frerun-cse-after-loop
-fcse-follow-jumps -fcse-skip-blocks -mcpu=pentium -
march=pentium -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include/pgsql   -o php -export-dynamic
stub.lo libphp4.la
./.libs/libphp4.a(internal_functions.o)(.data+0x40): undefined reference to
`iconv_module_entry'

the error what I meant was "./.libs/libphp4.a(internal_functions.o)(.data+0x40):
undefined reference to `iconv_module_entry'".

Thanks for help
Jens
