After trying w/ print/ghostscript-afpl version 8.00_1,1 compiled w/ default options (on FreeBSD on 4.8-Release) w/ gv 3.5.8_1 ... - "psu-icr-rink-contact02.pdf" was opened w/o errors (except the message about font embedding which is ignorable). - opening of "pr-filehandle_ties.pdf" produced the error message below w/ only the page numbers showing on left (same problem as in the original PR)... Error: /invalidfileaccess in --file-- Operand stack: (/usr2/home/parv/ref/lang/perl/pr-filehandle_ties.pdf) (r) Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- Dictionary stack: --dict:1044/1123(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/20(G)-- --dict:80/200(L)-- --dict:100/127(ro)(G)-- --dict:230/230(G)-- Current allocation mode is local AFPL Ghostscript 8.00: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 Error: /invalidfileaccess in --file-- Operand stack: (/usr2/home/parv/ref/lang/perl/pr-filehandle_ties.pdf) (r) Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- Dictionary stack: --dict:1044/1123(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/20(G)-- --dict:80/200(L)-- --dict:100/127(ro)(G)-- --dict:230/230(G)-- Current allocation mode is local AFPL Ghostscript 8.00: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 ...Again, there were no problems opening any of the two files w/ version 7.04_7 (without X) as noted earlier.
