I get periodic loads over 1 for no reason at all and nothing shows up in ps(1) so I'm guessing it must be some kernel issue (?). The other two boxes are fine. The only thing special about this box is the asr device, an Adaptec 2100 RAID controller with one IBM drive hooked to it. I also seriously doubt the box has been compromised. The only event I can link the loads with is that cvsup && make world. It all started since p1, 4.4-RELEASE worked fine. Can you please suggest a solution to get rid of these loads? ------------------------------------------------------------ Get your FREE web-based e-mail and newsgroup access at: http://MailAndNews.com Create a new mailbox, or access your existing IMAP4 or POP3 mailbox from anywhere with just a web browser. ------------------------------------------------------------ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
