Normal (store bought) CDs appear to function fine. Recordables have some troubles. First off, 50% of the disks mount properly. 50% complain with the error "Invalid Argument" when doing a: 'mount -t cd9660 /dev/acd0a /mnt/cdrom' I can cat /dev/racd0a and receive data, but still not mount those particular disks. As for the 50% that do mount. Only some detect the (I believe it's Joliet) extensions. The rest end up with 8.3 filenames (not that big of a pain). I've got 2 4x4 changers, and 2 32x CD-ROM drives in 2 freebsd machines now (both 4-current updated about 2 days ago). I took them out of a OS/2 Warp 4 box (which could mount / read all CDs properly). Any assistance would be nice. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
