So I started with the boot option (-h). Which actually works. (it continues loading till disk change) But as soon as I have to change to the next boot disk "mfsroot", I have to press enter to confirm. And that's actually my problem. Cause my keyboard is at that point still not working (even with -h) so I can't confirm the disk change and my installation stops here. But I was already able to install it once ... cause as long as the disk is loading, my keyboard is actually working ... so I just have to be fast enough to change disk and press enter within a second. But that means redoing the entire procedure for about an hour!!! So please if anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. Thank you very much! Hi,
I got huge=20 problem while installing FreeBSD 4.0 on my Echos P90 Laptop. I know = that it=20 is actually supported, but I'm still facing a big problem. When = I start=20 my installation with the first boot disk "kernel" ... my computer = hangs=20 after the following messages:

/boot.config:=20 -P
Keyboard:=20 no

>>=20 FreeBSD/i386 BOOT
Default:=20 0:fd(0,a)/boot/loader
boot:=20

BTX loader=20 1.00 BTX version is 1.01

-- stops right=20 here --

Well I=20 already figured out that my keyboard isn't supported. So I started = with the=20 boot option (-h). Which actually works. (it continues loading till = disk=20 change) But as soon as I have to change to the next boot disk = "mfsroot", I=20 have to press enter to confirm. And that's actually my = problem. Cause my keyboard is at that = point still=20 not working (even with -h) so I can't confirm the disk=20 change and=20 my installation stops here. But I was already able to install it once ... = cause as=20 long as the disk is loading, my keyboard is actually working ... so = I just=20 have to be fast enough to change disk and press enter within a = second. But=20 that means redoing the entire procedure for about an hour!!! So = please if=20 anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. Thank you very=20 much!
