Tarr" Subject: upgrading to 2.1.0RELEASE Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org Precedence: bulk I just attempted to upgrade my computer my the snapshot of 2.1 to the release version. The problem I'm having is that I am using a 'de0' ethernet card, this is not listed in the config on the floppy. So, I disabled all the network cards and it 'finds' the card, and configures it. I went throught the entire process up to where it tries to then read the network and then the install fails, saying it "couldn't resolve ftp.freebsd.org". The network I'm on is working fine, however this message seemed to me to be thst the card was failing. This is the same card I am using presently and that works great. If you have any information about theis problem? I would like to move my computer up the the release. Thanks,
