I'm having another hangup with 5.2.1. This one is considerably less critical though. I have a SoundBlaster Live! (with 5.1 support, whatever this means). Judging from the handbook, all I'm supposed to do is put the following in the kernel config: device pcm device sbc and put this in /boot/loader.conf: snd_emu10k1_load="YES" And everything should work. Not really. I'm not seeing any indication of an unrecognized card or any pcm or sbc devices in the dmesg output (/var/run/dmesg.boot). Anyone have any suggestions?
