I succeded to get little further, but it still fails! I used to 20030828 JPSNAP 5.1-CURRENT floppies and did: set hw.pci.allow_unsupported_io_range=1 set hw.pci.enable_io_modes=0 set hw.eisa_slots=0 boot -v This time I got to the sysinstall screens but it hangs during disksetup (where one partitions the disks). I managed to get 4.8 installed on it but thats not what fits my needs. Hints? ACPI, ACPI-disabled (booting from a -CURRENT ISO snap) doesnt seem to matter much. Anders -- Anders Andersson
