I thought it came up with 25 lines by default (so I've got this loop in my /etc/rc.local that goes thru my vt's setting them to 50 - there's gotta be an easier way - maybe the getty initialization process would send some magic strings from the termcap that would take care of it for me?). I'm fairly new to FreeBSD and have 2.0.5R installed.
