It's completely useless to us, and is absolutely huge. A total waste of bandwidth for everyone on the list. Howver on your machine you can do: # gdb -c whatever.core /path/to/bin/whatever and then bt to get a backtrace. *That* you can post to a mailing list. You may then get requests to print the contents of particular variables. Brian.
