Mike,

thanks for your patch. If it is really about bonnie (and not
bonnie++), please contact se@FreeBSD.org who is the maintainer of the
former port).

Otherwise, and generally in the future, since  bonnie++ is ummaintained,
please submit a problem report with your patch.

Otherwise, chances are, that your patch gets lost in the huge mail
volume of freebsd-ports.
