Install the pvm port (ports/net/pvm) on the machines.

I've played around with this a bit, and it's quite fun to watch.
Check out the X11 fractal demo ("xep").

There's also a port of povray (ports/graphics/pvmpov) which uses PVM
to distribute it's processing.
