Hi!
#############################################################################
I've no time to make a port for Mosaic, but perhaps someone else can
use the source tree as a starting point.
So please do not contact me if you have trouble with the binaries!!!!
#############################################################################
I hope the upload of
Mosaic-2.6-WAIS0.5-HDF3.3r3.tar.gz Length 6737789 Bytes
in the incoming dir of freebsd.cdrom.com was successfull when this
mail arrives you!
The tar-archive Mosaic-2.6-WAIS0.5-HDF3.3r3.tar.gz contains
Mosaic-2.6 (shared and static Motif 1.2.3 binary versions and the source
tree) with freeWASI-0.5, HDF3.3r3 and DTM support. Compiled on a 2.0.5
system and linked XFree86-3.1.2.
To use the NEWS reader feature, set up the NNTPSERVER environment
variable or place the server name in /etc/news-server (necessary when
started from GoodStuff within fvwm ).
To avoid contacting the Mosaic home page on every start, Mosaic looks
at /usr/X11/lib/X11/Mosaic/Home.html you can install any html page you
like there.
Have fun
Lars
