Greetings, I just installed the latest arts version in the ports collection on one o= f my=20 FreeBSD workstations (my machine cvsups nightly). Strangely though, it doesn't seem to want to work. I get this message on startup using startx:=20 Sound server warning message: unix_connect: can't connect to server=20 (unix:/tmp/mcop-jesse/david_int_wingnet_net-bcc4-3d821746) And this is in that directory: [13:55]jesse@david:[/tmp/mcop-jesse]% ls -al | grep=20 david_int_wingnet_net-bcc4-3d821746 srwxr-xr-x 1 jesse wheel 0 Sep 13 12:50=20 david_int_wingnet_net-bcc4-3d821746=3D [13:56]jesse@david:[/tmp/mcop-jesse]% Everything in this directory is owned by jesse:wheel. Any ideas?? I'm running KDE Release 3.0.2 TIA. --=20 Jesse Guardiani, Systems Administrator WingNET Internet Services, P.O.
