Hello, I am looking to purchase a good sound card for a new system that will be running FreeBSD. To find out what cards were supported, I looked in section 14.2 of the handbook on your web site but most of those cards appear to be older. Some are not even available for online purchase on the manufacturers web site. I was looking at the Sound blaster AWE 128 PCI card, but it's not available from Creative Labs any more. They have a newer card, the PCI 512 and I was wondering if perhaps this section of the handbook was out of date and this card is supported. If not, can you make a recommendation for a high quality, but trouble-free card for a multimedia system?
