In tcsh(1), under the "Special shell variables" section, for "matchbeep",
it is currently written as:

               If set to `never', completion never beeps.  If set
               to `nomatch', it  beeps  only  when  there  is  no
               match.   If set to `ambiguous, it beeps when there
               are multiple matches.  If set to  `notunique',  it
               beeps  when  there  is  one exact and other longer
               matches.  If unset, `ambiguous' is used.

There is a missing end [single-]quote after "ambiguous".
